The Beef Button is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, track, or sell your personal data. Your privacy is absolute.
If you choose to provide an API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini) to use cloud-based generation, this key is stored securely and strictly locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage mechanism.
Your keys are never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. They are exclusively used to authenticate direct API calls to the respective AI provider you chose to generate the response.
When you click the Beef Button, the text of the LinkedIn post you are reacting to is sent temporarily to the AI provider (OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic, depending on your settings) to generate a relevant response. This data is only used for generating the immediate text in your browser and is not stored or logged by us.
