Samsung wanted to celebrate the launch of the new Galaxy Z Flip6 while showing massive support for the Belgian athletes heading to the 2024 Summer Olympics. This wasn't just about selling a phone. It was about building a reliable partnership through technical research and creative storytelling.

The Vision

Flipping the Wave for Team Belgium

We needed a campaign that felt as innovative and "forward-thinking" as the tech itself. This was about creating a meaningful connection between Samsung's cutting-edge technology and Belgium's Olympic pride, transforming spectators into active participants in the celebration.

The Concept

A Nationwide Digital Tribute

We combined our technical expertise in web experiences with our creative brains to build "Join The Flip Wave." We wanted to create a live, nationwide "wave" that would run on digital-out-of-home (DOOH) screens all across Belgium. Interactive Mechanism: We kept it simple but engaging. Anyone could scan a QR code on a billboard, take a picture of themselves with their arms in the air, and "join" the Samsung flip wave within minutes. The Spotlight: Your photo wouldn't just sit on your phone. It would appear live on digital screens, making the audience the star of the show.

The Execution

30+ Screens, One Massive Moment

This was the final project I did with Samsung, and it was a blast to see years of trust culminate in such a technical feat. The Final Moment: For the post-Olympics celebration at Brussels station, we planned a hero's welcome for our returning athletes. Station-Wide Sync: I single-handedly set up the animations for over 30 screens throughout the station. We synced them all to create a massive, station-wide wave showcasing submissions from the public. A true testament to Belgium's support for the team (and my caffeine tolerance).
